Kelowna is a great place to enjoy horseback riding. It’s a very popular activity in the area with many guest ranches and horseback riding lessons available. The Bridlewood Riding Centre is an equestrian centre situated between Kelowna and Vernon offering camps, lessons and trail rides.

Kelowna Stable is another popular option with horseback riding to all levels of experience. Here is a look at the fun you can have on horseback in Kelowna at these popular facilities.

Kelowna Stables and Myra Canyon Ranch – 4675 June Springs Road, Kelowna

Located in Myra-Bellevue Provincial Park, the Kelowna Stables is the perfect place to go to check out horseback riding. They are ready to offer you an adventure with some of the most scenic trails in the area. You’ll have a certified guide at a fair ride offering you a nature adventure in small groups. It’s only 20 minutes from downtown Kelowna and minutes from the Kettle valley Railway Trail.

They can offer custom rides, classic rides and kid’s rides. They are ready to help everyone from the novice to the expert and prices vary by number of rides and the length of time. Check them out from February to November.

Bridlewood Riding Centre – 4515 Hebbert Road, Lake Country

Located just 15 minutes north of Kelowna International Airport is Bridlewood Riding Centre between Kelowna and Vernon. It’s a beautiful equestrian centre offering rides in the Okanagan Valley of BC. They offer riding lessons, guided trail rides, birthday parties, summer camps and more.

Their facility has spectacular views, three outdoor riding rings, after dark riding with lighting and so much more. It’s a safe environment and the perfect place to go for lessons or a party.

If you’re ready to check out horseback riding for the first time or maybe just the first time in the area, check out these popular Kelowna facilities.
