During the summer, you probably think about ways to relax and enjoy the great outdoors. If you are looking for a peaceful setting, consider the Okanagan Herb farm. Their philosophy is to grow and produce dried herbs, essential oils and hydrosols that will give customers the ultimate experience to enjoy.

Take a Class

This place offers you the chance to take a class to take part in handmade crafts and you can join them at the farm to take part in small workshops. If you have a group of people you can even call and book a group workshop with your closest friends.

There is a fee that varies that must be paid at the time of registration and class sizes are typically limited. Classes will include all the materials you’ll need and for the most part, you’ll be outdoors and in the gardens under covered areas.

Some of the classes that are offered include:

  • Aromatherapy Saturdays which shows you how to incorporate aromatherapy into your routine while making your own bath salt mixes and facial toners that you can take home with you. You will get a booklet that you can take home as well.
  • Fairy Gardens is for children who can come and build their own fairy garden to take home. This is a great way for the kids to spend a day outside, and all supplied they need are included.

This farm offers you the best views of the Okanagan Lake and offers a café, a boutique and a stunning farm that you can enjoy. This can be a great way to spend your summer days relaxing and enjoying the many different scents that come with aromatherapy and Lavender.

The first planting took place in 1994 and now offers a huge variety of handmade items and lavender products that you can take home and enjoy on your own time.
