Nestled alongside Okanagan Lake in the Okanagan Valley, the gorgeous city of Kelowna features waterfront properties, lush vineyards, and numerous ranch-style homes. Although ranch-style houses originate from the United States, they became popular in Canada after World War II. These sprawling homes typically form a rectangular U- or L-shape, and the other architectural traits of ranches include an attached garage and plenty of large windows. Kelowna South

Kelowna South stretches from Highway 97 to K.L.O. Road. This lakefront neighbourhood has single-family homes, townhouses, and condos ranging from approximately $85,000 to over $5 million. Additionally, Kelowna South offers plenty of recreation and educational opportunities, with more than seven Kelowna parks, various shops and restaurants, and the Okanagan College campus nearby.

Glenmore

Located between Magic Estates and Central City, the cozy wooded Glenmore community contains sprawling ranch-style homes and modern condos ranging from approximately $300,000 to more than $3.5 million. This secluded neighbourhood offers plenty to do thanks to its proximity to downtown, with numerous parks, shopping centers, and restaurants nearby.

Homes in Glenmore tend towards the larger side, with many boasting five or more bedrooms and four or more bathrooms. While the neighbourhood has some smaller ranch-style single-family homes, most two- to three-bedroom homes are condos or apartments.
