Summer moths approaching means it’s time to get out the bathing suits and consider what to do with the extra time as well as making it fun for the entire family. Kelowna offers a slew of activities for the entire family as well as other things that you and your partner can  take advantage of if you are looking for a little alone time. Here is just a brief overview of things you can take advantage of.

Cruises and Boat Tours

Kelowna offers the ability to take a look at wineries in the area and this is something you and your honey can enjoy. Get a behind the scenes look into the wine industry with a beautiful and relaxing boat cruise to the Okanagan Valley as tours operate daily allowing you to catch one.

You can also have a little more fun on the waters with fishing and boating chargers as you taka a guided tour on the waters. This is something the entire family can enjoy and includes fishing for bass, sockeye, trout and more on the lake. You can also enjoy some snorkeling and diving.

Kayaking and Canoeing

If you are interested in giving kayaking and canoeing a shot there are tours located in Peachland which offers fun and excitement for the entire family. Some activities you can enjoy include stand up paddling in addition to paddle board lessons, canopy bikes and paddle board yoga for those who are more experienced. There are also paddleboard tours that are offered which take you on tours to Rattlesnake Island as long as the weather permits.

If you want something in the summer and warmer months that the entire family can do, Kelowna can offer a number of water sports and activities to help keep the entire family busy this summer. If you have younger children, this is a great place to consider checking out this season to ensure children are up and out from behind the electronics. There is a lot to see and do and families these days should consider taking advantage of the many water activities that can be enjoyed.
